Knud Pedersen

Vice President Group R&D, Dong Energy, Denmark

Knud Pedersen is Vice President, Group R&D, DONG Energy since 2005. His earlier positions include the Vice President of the Danish Energy Authority from 1998 and Head of division at the Danish Energy Authority from 1991.

During the years 1990-1991 he worked as an economist at Dong Energy and from 1988-1990 as Attaché of Energy with the Danish delegation at OECD in Paris. Earlier he was a Principal officer at the Danish ministries of Environment and Energy from 1983-1988. Mr. Pedersen has a M.Sc. degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
